For starters, a lot of things are breaking. This is typical of Alfas of the past, but we were hoping that the Italian firm would put some more money and effort into quality control with the new Giulia, especially given the brand’s new desire to compete with the ever-so-sturdy Germans. In a few brief drives with the Giulia, the UK’s Sunday Times had three cars fail on them, with some having to be towed away. In one, the infotainment system failed completely, in another the engine warning light came on and the cruise control stopped working and a third had more issues with its infotainment system. That’s inexcusable in such a new car. Admittedly, these are minor software-related issues, which can be problematic in a new car as modern cars have roughly twice the amount of programming code as an airliner, plus these could possibly be pre-production vehicles. However, take a look at how many of its German competitors have issues like this at launch. Zero, the answer is zero.

. But if Alfa can’t get its quality up to at least close to par with the Germans, the Giulia is going to be another lame duck car that no one will want to risk spending their hard earned money on.

Некако не ми се поклапаат математикиве. Како тоа ниедна 156ка од слично годиште, довлечкана од истите држави нема корозија? Или не ги возеле Алфите оти се расипуваат па немале контакт со хемикалиите?

Опел канта си е Опел канта, врти се од кај сакаш. Брука за германските труд, технологија и квалитет е Опел да се нарече германско возило.

So when I told my mates and colleagues I was going to buy and Alfa, they all said ye they look great but they are unreliable and rust. Naaaaaa I said…..
I said don’t be stupid; in the 70s and 80s rust may have been an issue. Modern cars don’t rust
Modern cars and are all pretty reliable, the car I’m buying has one year’s warranty left so I doubt I going to have any problems, I bought a 26 month old G with 12k on the clock, basically it felt and looked new when I picked it up.

And the nightmare begins:

1 week later blue water in the boot well, fixed under warranty, turned out to be a broken washer jet pipe
1 month the later, one side of the tail lights fails, fixed under warranty, turns out to be a broken loom, my understanding this is common fault, the old loom is too tight and the wires break over time
Also had a new boot badge, under warranty the old one is falling apart, also had a new, hand break gaiter, the old one split but the dealer put on a 2015 updated version so it doesn’t match

3 months in, and closing the boot I noticed a large rust patch with flaking paint ….pictures to follow

The dealer Mangolets Cheshire, have fixed the issues but story is worth a flaming thread on its own. Which i;ll do when or if they fix the new rust issue

I now just think time to dump it, although I love the way it looks and drives, what a shame !

My final statement:
Нова Алфа ти е како скап костум од Битсиани кој ќе ти попука  на газот при прво седнување.
На почеток сите ќе ти се восхитуваат на изборот, но после сите ќе ти се смеат пошто гаќите ти се гледаат.

Половна Алфа е веќе мачка во вреќа, како и се друго на пазарот на половњаци...во случајов ..ете..најчесто убава мачка во вреќа.
Али Симчо никако да  му поверува на "Стратре" ....иако над 30.000 го кошташе првиот сервис на неговата.

Многу повеќе Алфа возила има донесено од Италија, кадешто во најголем дел температурата не се ни спушта под нула, а камоли да врне снег. Тројно поцинкувано Ауди го јаде корозија од северна Германија/Австрија/Швајцарија. За БМВ/Мерцедес да не правиме муабет.


Има причина зошто од северна/североисточна Германија и планинските делови на Баварија возилата се многу поевтини во споредба со другите региони на Германија.
Сите линкови за евтини возила и интересни понуди што се ставаат во темата  се од тие делови на Германија. Ама кој да чита, нели.

Не за џабе се префрлија на алуминиумско подвозје, а скапите модели имаат комплетно тело од алуминиум и слични легури. Корозија и хемија е заебана работа и секое возило го јаде како чума, затоа што тргне ли да кородира една шасија со носечки делови, нема враќање назад.

Италија не фрла сол ни хемикалии на патиштата бидејќи:

1. Нема пари. Ѓупци се.
2. Да не скапат фиатите
3. Парите можат да се искористат за пица и добро вино.

1. колку години престојувале таму
2. дали се фарбани.

Многу ауди и vw скапани швицарски имам видено.

Волвото е прфа фарба нема а таму престојувало најмалку 11г,Аудито е фарбано само предно лево крило(или е сменето),а колку има престојувано незнам,ама сигурно исто колку и Волвото,ако не и повеќе.

Треба дополнително да се испита дали има реони во Швајцарија каде што не фрлаат хемикалии. Инаку повеќето Швајцарски коли што сум ги видел биле швајцарско сирење.

Лошко..во право си  дека најголемите кршови се од Италија и ( кај нас) Бугарија, али не ти држи муабетов за Шфицарска.

Selling a 2nd hand car privately - Swiss laws

I need an advice in a strange situation the the car I recently sold.

I bought a 2nd hand car about a year ago, then I wanted to sell it after about 7 months of usage. So I posted an ad in our intranet (I was asking 2500CHF for 1999 5door Opel Corsa, aut.trans.) and a person contacted me regarding the car. The car was examined by him and he agreed to buy the car. He was going to take the car to the garage for service and thus asked me to drop the price to 2000CHF. We agreed on the price and I passed the car to him after annulling and returning my number plates.

About 2 months after this he informed me that the car's engine was overheaten while he was driving and a week later I received this email from him:

The Opel Corsa I purchased on June 3, 2010 from you, will cost at
least 1500 to 1800 CHF to repair. I have now spoken to many Garages
and Mechanics and every one of them have confirmed that the issue with
the Engine existed for a long time and could not have developed after
I bought the car.

I have spoken to my lawyer and I have been informed that the Swiss
Laws obliges a seller (a dealer or a private person) to provide a
minimum of 3 months warranty.

Given the current situation we both are in I can think of only two
following options:

1) You pay for the charges of repair

2) You refund the money I paid for the purchase of car

Please let me know what you prefer so that we can close this issue.

Али Симчо никако да  му поверува на "Стратре" ....иако над 30.000 го кошташе првиот сервис на неговата.

Бидејќи не знам дали постои Опел со 200 коња, нека истражи Стратре колку ќе чини целосен голем и мал сервис на Опел со турбо бензински мотор најблиску до 200 коњи, најблиска година до 159ката на Симо, во овластен сервис. Дури може и да се јави и врски да потегне во сервис за ценички.
