Compared to its predecessor the 156, the Alfa 159 reflects a noticeable leap in quality. The vehicle, often driven in a sporty manner, shows itself to be largely problem-free, particularly in relation to the ordinarily heavily stressed chassis. Only the tie rod joints tend towards increased wear at high mileages, while the welcomed addition of wide base tyres also make their presence felt here.
