The VW Touran gets the Golden Carrot, 2012. For twelve years, AUTO BILD chooses the leaders of the deficiencies in the statistical reader suggestion box. In 2012 it was the VW Touran, who leads the suggestion box list of AUTO BILD readers because of a broken timing chain in the 1.4 TSI engine. Thus, the family van gets for the second time after 2006, the award for botch the vehicle - at that time it was still the bronze carrot.
