Poveke ili pomalku poznati avtomobili bez koi denesnite liksuzni avtomobili ne bi bile toa sto se. Jas ke navedam samo 2-3, ke ostavam mesto za drugite da dopolnat.

Rare supercharged Model J version, with 320 hp (239 kW) was also created by Fred Duesenberg and introduced in May 1932, only 36 units were built. Special-bodied models, such as the later "Mormon Meteor" chassis, achieved an average speed of over 135 mph (217 km/h) and a one-hour average of over 152 mph (245 km/h) at Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah.

The Cadillac V-16 is today recognized as one of the finest automobiles of the prewar era by many authorities. The Classic Car Club of America rates all V-16s as CCCA Full Classics, a rating reserved for only the finest automobiles of the 1925–1948 period. Values reflect these opinions; particularly fine examples of the 1930 production can change hands for more than US$500,000 as of 2004.

-Little chrome was used compared to other vehicles of the time, and the only two-tone paint combinations offered were limited to roofs being contrasted with bodies. The car had power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, and power vent windows. The vanes on the wheel covers were individually bolted inside the frame of the cover. It sported a high greenhouse and a wraparound windscreen. Gas entered the fuel tank via a swingaway left taillight.

Most of the car was hand-built to an exacting standard, including the application of multiple coats of paint, hand sanding, double lacquering, and polishing to perfection.

For power, the Mark II featured the newly offered 368 cubic inch Lincoln V8. Standard equipment in the Lincoln line, the engines selected for the Mark II were effectively factory-blueprinted, assembled from the closest-to-specifications parts produced available. Turning out 285 HP in 1956, the engine was tuned to produce 300 HP in 1957. The engine was mated to a three-speed Lincoln automatic, and both engine and transmission were subject to extensive pre-release testing.

Кога веќе го спомна Континенталот, еден комшија кај мене во Влае возеше Town Car од пред можда 30-тина години.. Феноменална појава.



Све мислам дека беше ваков.. Можда со некои ситни разлики, исто црн.

Друг интересен факт за Кониненталот е дека моделот од 1961-ва е колата во која беше убиен Кенеди. Језив факт токму за таа кола е дека после атентатот Никсон ја променил маската, и му била омилено возило за возење натаму нааму..

2003 Cadillac Sixteen Concept, nemaa muda da go pustat seriski, najverojatno ke bese ultra skap i nerentabilen kako i prviot od 30-te...






-The car was conceptually related to the Cadillac V-16 of the 1930s. The actual design of the car was a combination of Cadillac's current "Art and Science" design theme and 1967 Cadillac Eldorado cues.
-The vehicle was equipped with a 32-valve V16 concept engine displacing 13.6 liters (~830 cu. in) and was mated to a four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission driving the rear wheels.
-The engine was said to produce 1,000 horsepower (750 kW) using no form of forced induction. The car itself weighs about 2,270 kilograms (5,000 lb).

Oва е најскапиот и најлуксузниот автомобил во целата автомобилска историја. Неколку пати бил поскап од најскапиот Rolls Royce на времето. Најмоќната верзија на Дузенберг имала ни помалку ни повеќе туку 400 КС
