Cons: Unfortunately, there is a major annoyance and a possible big issue for some buyers(myself included). After researching online, this monitor seems to suffer from LG's "dimming". There are plenty of threads of people with this issue on other LG models, but I've have experienced it first hand on this monitor. There is no way to turn it off in the settings provided, even after setting the monitor to PC mode, making sure the dynamic contrast and eco mode is off.
What is this dimming you ask? Well as a movie and game fan, any time the screen turns pitch black, be it from movie credits, a fade in/fade out during scenes, a loading screen during a game, a dark scene in a game, the monitor itself will "turn off". Now the monitor itself is still on and will immediately bring the picture back, but there is a 2-5 second delay. It's almost like something in the monitor sees a black screen, so it turns the backlight completely off.
As a movie fan it's incredibly frustrating when during a quick 5-10 second fade in/fade out or quickly cut scene, the backlight will turn or "dim" itself off and on, as if you were pressing the power button yourself.
Other Thoughts: I didn't want to put this in the Cons, but the only fix I've found for this dimming issue is to set the monitor's settings to "PC Mode" and "Cinema". This gives me the same, be it a little bit darker picture than my custom setting, with the added bonus of it stopping the automatic dimming and having the backlight switch off. This is only a temp fix however as doing this greys out all major customization options such as contrast and individual color temperature.

Иначе очигледно е мат површината на екранот. Штета пошто би сакал глоси површина (темно е секогаш кога подлго сум на РС).

ASUS VW222u да го подновам со некој ИПС монитор, а овој асусов да иде во мултимедија РСто.
Асусот на времето беше одбран заради брзата матрица, за играње. Сега многу ретко играм, па не сакам тоа да биде главна причина за одбирање. Пошто е постар модел ТН матрица, очекувам дека ќе има прилична разлика во квалитетот на сликата, во споредба со IPS матрицата на LG 22MP55HQ.
